Death Note Rewrite 2 - L's successors (Complete)

The Japanese broadcaster NTV has announced that it will air the Death Note Rewrite 2: L o Tsugu Mono (Death Note: Rewrite 2: L’s Successors) special on August 22. Like the first special, this new compilation will summarize a part of the 2006-2007 television anime series. Specifically, it will recount the final half of the supernatural suspense story, including the investigators Near and Mello’s confrontations with the vigilante Kira.

Death Note Rewrite 2 L’s Successors: A sequel to the previous "Death Note Rewrite." This story continues where the previous left off, continuing the story of Light. As the previous special told Light and L's battles, this story does the same with the conflicts between Light, Mello, and Near.

Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance

For those unfamiliar with the Metal Gear series (shame on you!), here's a little background info. You assume the role of Solid Snake, co-founder of activist group Philanthropy, and ex-member of government special forces group, Fox-Hound. Your goal is to raise the public's awareness about the different Metal Gears (giant mech-like machines of mass destruction) that are created in hopes that their development will cease altogether. The other co-founder of Philanthropy, Hal "Otacon" Emmerich, was an engineer on the Metal Gear REX (from MGS1) project, and eventually switched sides after realizing the real reason Metal Gear was created. Every Metal Gear game involves some sort of new Metal Gear that is being built, and your mission to stop it.

Gameplay :
The unique aspect of the Metal Gear games is that they promote stealth over action. The best way through a level is to do it without being seen or heard. To aid you in sneaking past the enemy, there is a radar in the upper-right hand corner of the screen that displays your position, as well as enemy positions and their field of vision. If you are seen, your radar is disabled and the enemy will call for backup. If that happens, you must either try and kill them all, or run away hoping they don't shoot you down before you reach a safe hiding place.
Being seen is not the only thing you have to worry about. The enemy also has ears, and if you make too much noise, they will go investigate the source of the sound. Walking on certain surfaces, shooting an un-silenced gun, leaving a blood trail, or even sneezing from a cold will get you in big trouble. Also, leaving a dead body lying around will alert the enemies of an intruder if seen, while knocking them out with a tranquilizer will cause their fellow soldiers to wake them up. Luckily, you can hide bodies in dark corners or lockers, and you can also throw them off the side of the ship in the tanker chapter.

Afro Samurai Resurrection (Complete)

Afro, now trying to live an ordinary life, refuses any challenge for his No. 1 headband. One dark and stormy night, Jinno, and a mysterious woman named Sio, attack Afro. They easily defeat him and take his No. 1 headband as well as his father's remains. Sio tells Afro her plans to resurrect his father, Rokutaro, so she can torture him as revenge against Afro for the lives he has destroyed and for what has happened to her brother, Jinno. Afro, determined to regain the No. 1 as well as his father's remains, sets off to find the No. 2 headband. Afro eventually learns that the bearer of the No. 2 is a man named Shichigoro.

Afro confronts Shichigoro, regains the No. 2, and continues on toward Sio. Along the way he is observed by three mysterious warriors from his past. He eventually battles them while Sio revives Afro's father. Afro defeats the three and is confronted by Sio, Jinno, and his resurrected father. However, Rokutaro is revived before he is completely restored, leaving him a mindless killing machine. Rokutaro defeats and almost kills Afro, when Jinno comes to Afro's aid in a sudden change of heart. Landing only a few blows, Jinno is quickly dispatched by Rokutaro, who then kills Sio. The cybernetic remains of Jinno give off an electrical surge, which, conducted through the spilled blood of Afro, revives him. Afro then defeats Rokotaro and reclaims the No. 1 headband.

Afro walks away from the battle, wearing the No. 1 headband and clutching the No. 2 headband in hand. He comes across an orphan who seeks vengeance for Shichigoro and hands him the No. 2, telling him to challenge him when he's ready.

Shenmue The Movie (Complete)

Shenmue: The Movie is a ninety minute compilation of the major storytelling cut scenes from the game Shenmue played in chronological order along with battle scenes played by expert players. The movie was officially released in Japanese theaters on January 20, 2001 and later was released in the West as a bonus DVD included with the Xbox version of Shenmue II.

The film largely deals with the first chapter of Shenmue using the cutscenes from the game, along with a few additional new sequences to tie things together. The movie was only released in Japan initially but with the arrival of Shenmue II on the Xbox saw the addition of the movie with the game. There are a few differences between the actual movie DVD and the Xbox bundled DVD. The movie DVD includes a choice between English or Japanese audio and includes some extras such as the Japanese trailer for the movie and perhaps most interesting an extra feature that shows Masaya Masukaze and Shou Hagiwara (the Japanese voice actors for Ryo Hazuki and Ren of Heavens) dressed as their character and running around Shanghai. The Xbox DVD simply includes the English version of the movie.

Devil Man Manga Complete (5 Volumes)

Devilman is about a teenager named Akira Fudo. At first, Akira is very shy, modest and gentle, trying to avoid conflict. When his parents are lost on a business trip in the Arctic, Akira goes to stay with his childhood friend Miki Makimura and her family (mother, father, and bratty kid brother Tare). Both soon form a close relationship. Miki, a tough, smart, self-sufficient girl, loves Akira but wishes that he would stand up for himself when he gets pushed around, and is frustrated by his lack of backbone. She often has to defend herself from bullies even when Akira is with her. In the first OVA, she saves Akira from a gang of bullies who are threatening him.

One day, Akira's best friend, Ryo Asuka, asks a favor and completely changes Akira's life. Ryo's father had discovered the existence of demons when he found a mask during an excavation of the ruins of an ancient Mayan temple. This mask turns out to be a fossilized demon skull, which shows whomever wore it what the world was like when demons ruled over it. Ryo shows Akira this and informs him about the demons' revival. Akira then sees Ryo's plan: "To fight a demon, one must become a demon."

Demons have the ability to possess and control humans. However, Ryo believes that people like Akira may be able to harness a demon's powers when possessed, due to the fact that Akira has a pure heart. Ryo takes his friend to a nightclub and picks a fight to draw demonic attention to the club. Demons possess the clubbers and threaten Ryo and Akira, until a demon known as Amon the Lord of War, also called the Beast of Hell, and also one of the strongest demons attempts to possess Akira. However Akira manages to gain the upper hand of the possessing process with Amon and transforms into Devilman. Devilman contains the strength and power of the demon Amon, as well as the heart and soul of Akira, giving Akira complete control.

After he becomes Devilman, Akira is no longer timid and shy. He becomes very aggressive and no longer lets anyone push him around. This change pleases Miki, although she is unaware of Akira's new-found powers.

Throughout the series, Devilman has many battles with the demon hordes. He encounters many foes such as Sirène the demon bird, the water demon Geruma, and a large turtle-like demon called Jinmen.

In the manga, the story ends with Akira discovering that his friend Ryo is really Satan in a dormant state. After Miki and her whole family are brutally slain by a paranoid human horde (in a particularly famous scene, Akira retrieves Miki's dismembered body from her burned house and later is seen holding her head in his arms), the final fight between Devilman and Satan ensues. The Earth is totally destroyed during this battle, and Devilman dies at the hands of Satan

Yu-Gi-Oh The Movie (Complete)

The first movie of the series was simply titled Yu-Gi-Oh! and was released only in Japan. A thirty-minute movie produced by Toei Animation, it was first shown in theaters on March 6, 1999. Its characters are from the first series Yu-Gi-Oh! anime.

The movie is about a boy named Shōgo, who is too timid to duel, even after he got a powerful rare card; the legendary Red-Eyes Black Dragon, in his Deck. Yugi tries to bring Shōgo's courage out in a duel with Seto Kaiba, who has his eyes on Shōgo's rare card.

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light , often referred to as simply Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie, was first released in North America on August 13, 2004. The movie was developed specifically for Western audiences by 4Kids based on the overwhelming success of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise in the United States. Warner Bros. distributed the film in most English-speaking countries. Its characters are from the second series Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. In the movie, Atem faces Anubis, the Egyptian God of the Dead.

The extended uncut Japanese version of the movie premiered in special screenings in Japan on November 3, 2004 under the title Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters: Pyramid of Light. The movie was then aired on TV Tokyo on January 2, 2005.

The cards were Pyramid of Light, Sorcerer of Dark Magic, Blue Eyes Shining Dragon and Watapon. The Home Video Release also gave out one of the Free Cards with an offer to get all 4 by mail (though the promotion ended in December 2004). In Australia, New Zealand, Germany and the United Kingdom, free promotional cards were also given out, however, they were given out at all screenings of the movie, and not just the premiere. Bible Black

Taki Minase, a high school student, finds a book of black magic in the isolated storage room of his school. He begins practicing black magic, which has extreme sexual effects that benefit him and his friends, until evil comes forth from the dark craft. Eventually, the origins of the book are revealed, as is the incident on Walpurgis Night twelve years prior, when the evil force was at its strongest. After coming to his senses, Minase struggles to get himself out of the darkness into which he has put himself and his best friend and secret love, Kurumi Imari.

The game has twelve different endings and the storyline often diverges based on choices made by the player, which influence "neutral" endings, "chaos" endings and "law" endings. However, there is only one outcome regarded by its developers as the "true" ending. Bible Black was published in English in 2006, under the name Bible Black: The Game after Active-soft ceased operations.

Shin Bible Black (Complete)

Using the magic, Minase is able to change the feelings of Rika Shiraki towards him as well as help his friend, Murai, to get the boy she loves to love her back. Reika Kitami, the school nurse, hears of his magical acts and decides to convince him onto her side as she needs the book for herself. Twelve years prior, Kitami was used as a sacrifice for the previous witchcraft club and only survived after making a contract with the devil. She now needs a virgin girl to act as a vessel for her reincarnation as the life that Satan had given her is running out. Kaori Saeki, the head of the new Witchcraft club, also notes Minase's magic acts and persuades him to come to one of her meetings along with the book. After being possessed by a lesser demon, he goes along with Kitami who takes over the witchcraft club.

Kitami holds private counselling sessions for girls, trying to find the virgin girl she needs. She reveals to Minase that the two girls she had her eyes on were his new girlfriend Shiraki and his childhood friend, Kurumi Imari. However, since Shiraki is no longer a virgin (thanks to Minase) Kitami pursues Imari, who has been missing school recently after walking in on Minase and Shiraki during intercourse. Kitami also regularly kidnaps the art teacher, Hiroko Takashiro, and performs sexual totures on her after finding out that Takashiro was the head of the Witchcraft club that had sacrificed her, even though Takashiro had left the circle prior to the ritual.

After Imari is taken by Kitami and Saeki, the lesser demon leaves Minase and he realises that he loves Imari and must save her. With the help of Takashiro and the Bible Black, he finds a spell Takashiro believes will stop Kitami's evil scheme. By this point, it is Walpurgis Night once again when Kitami is going to reincarnate herself in Imari. Kitami slits her wrists and has sexual intercourse with Imari in order to reincarnate herself, but Minase interrupts the ritual and casts the spell on Kitami. It seems that this causes the ritual to fail, and then Kitami to die from blood loss.

The series ends with Minase and Imari confessing their love for each other and having intercourse. After this, you see Saeki in the witchcraft club sanctuary holding the Bible Black which was going to be left in there as it was cemented in. Imari enters the basement and reveals herself to Saeki as Kitami reincarnated and suggesting to "test my new body on you".
